Fast growing trees are great to create quick screens, buffers or shade. However, you'll want to be careful though about selection. Many companies selling species of "Super Fast Growing Trees" are promoting trees that might grow super fast, but won't live very long or stand up well to high winds and other not-so-rare environmental extremes.
