Growing a beautiful lawn isn't that hard to do so long as you choose the right grass , prepare and/or condition the soil, and take the time to fertilize it properly. And those old sayings, like: "If you want it done right, do it yourself!", stick around for a reason: Because they are true! No one will care for your lawn like you will, and you can save hundreds of dollars a year fertilizing your lawn with a little expert advice.

From my experience in the golf course management business at Georgia National Golf Course, I've learned there are five necessary elements in order to have a beautiful lawn; the right grass type, good soil, good drainage, proper mowing, and a good lawn care and fertilization program."
